If you are in need of food, we are here to help. We use a referral system to help us ensure we can provide food to everyone who is in need. You will need to contact one of our referrers listed below, who will be able to explain how the referral system works and provide you with a voucher and any other advice you may need.
See Who Can Refer YouStep by step
Get in touch with one of our partner organisations listed below. You can self-refer through some of them. They will talk through your situation and, if appropriate, issue you with a food bank voucher.
Your referrer will give you a voucher for the food bank. They may also provide advice and signpost you to other services that could help your situation.
Bring your voucher to St Johns Church Hall, Ventnor Road, Portland, DT5 1JE. We are open Tuesday and Friday mornings, 9:30–11:30am.
Our friendly team will welcome you and prepare a food parcel for your household. Everything is provided with kindness and no judgement.
Our partners
Contact any of these organisations to request a food bank referral. They will assess your needs and issue a voucher if appropriate.
